Kicking Horse Coffee Decaf , Whole Bean Coffee, 2.2-Pound Pouch

This would be a 5 star product, but it is incredibly expensive... About $15.00 a pound... We are still looking for a reasonable priced whole bean decaf product. If it came in a sealable really airtight container, maybe would be worth the money, but it's just a bag with tape... For $30, throw in a canister at least.

Cool packaging, great price and very good coffee. I have tried most of the Kicking Horse blends and this is probably the best. A little bitter at the finish but overall a great buy.

Coffee like any other food will spoil when not consumed fresh and this is case with this coffee. You are buying coffee that was roasted 6-12 months earlier and all oils in it, and this is roasted to such degree that oils are plentiful, simply went rancid long time ago. And when you smell it you can really notice this. Coffee should be consumed up to 4 weeks after it has been roasted, not bag opened, not the date coffee expires, but the day it was roasted.I got cheated every time I try these stale blends hoping to discovered that somehow magically they stopped staling process but alas, it is fools errand. If you live in USA you are lucky because I think that we have the best coffees in the world available to us today. And there are plenty of roasters that will ship you the coffee the same day they roast it: Klatch Coffee, Terroir Coffee, Red Bird Coffee, Counter Culture Coffee and tons of others. Please give fresh product a try instead of this old, stale composting material.

Kicking Horse Coffee Cliff Hanger Espresso Medium, Whole Bean Coffee, 2.2-Pound Pouch

Yummy. If it was any better, they'd have to make it illegal. I use a cuisinart home espresso machine with the average 15 bar pump. Nothing semi-pro or fancy about it. This espresso gives a decent layer of crema on top of my double shot. The beans are medium dark, and oily, but not overly so. The flavor is excellent, clean, acidic, bright. There is a nice tart bite at the back of the tongue.I make a tall capuccino (sort of a very short latte) with whole organic milk and microfoam. I haven't had a plain shot of the espresso because I don't usually drink it that way. Still, I am comparing the same style of drink that I always make with other brands of espresso beans. I'm very pleased! (I am a vine reviewer, but I bought this coffee and didn't receive it free for review).

I wanted whole bean, organic, fair trade coffee, it comes in a recyclable can which was a bonus. The coffee is fresh and great. I have tryed the three sisters blend and this one is a little milder.Nothing to complain about.

Kicking Horse Coffee Kick Ass Dark, Whole Bean Coffee, 12.3 oz Tins, 2 ct (Quantity of 2)

This coffee is a rich dark roast with a smokey flavor to it. If you prefer strong coffee, the Kicking Horse Kick "donkey" coffee is up your ally, In my office coffee club, we ranked this coffee at 8.5 average score. I have a tin for home and a tin for work, and just recently ordered my second Kicking Horse brand coffee. However, due to the price here, I'd have to drop this score down 4 stars. Instead I'd recommend Kicking Horse Coffee Kick Ass Dark, Whole Bean Coffee, 12.3-Ounce Tins (Pack of 2).Yes it's the same brand, same name, same amount, even the same tins. I don't know why it is listed twice, one cheap, one expensive. I almost one-click ordered this listing by mistake (Hmmmm).

Kicking Horse Coffee Kick Ass Dark, Whole Bean Coffee, 12.3-Ounce Tins (Pack of 2)

My husband is a coffee lover; a connoisseur. Okay, in reality, he's a coffee snob. He likes his coffee strong, dark, robust, flavorful, and piping hot. Being from Minnesota, his usual preference has always been Obsidian flavor from Caribou Coffee. However, the day he tasted his first cup of Kicking Horse (Kick Ass), he deemed it the "Best Coffee on the Planet" and has not since found any other that comes close! We first discovered this coffee while on a camping trip in Canada. There, in the midst of six national parks in the heart of the Canadian Rockies (fondly known as Kicking Horse Country), we purchased our first container of Kicking Horse Coffee, primarily for its name. We were deeply enjoying the beauty of the land around us and happy to support the local economy. Back at camp we brewed our first pot and I've never known my husband to enjoy his java more intensely.Since that time, Kicking Horse has come to mean much more to this family than our endeared vacation spot. The term now resonates as reference to the premier coffee. I'm so glad we can now purchase it online; my coffee-loving husband is a happy man and It saves a bit on gas!

Coffee Bean Direct Assorted Whole Bean Coffee Sampler, 9-Pound Box

I thought I was buying 9 lbs of coffee. the Title reads.. "Assorted whole bean sampler, 9 Lb box"So any sane person would think your getting 9 lb's of coffee. To my surprise there was only 5 1/2 lbs of coffee and one bag was marked Free Sample. No where does it state the total coffee weight clearly. Classic misrepresentation. So I read the other reviews and someone else told Amazon about this problem a year ago! How can we trust the product pages?

Kicking Horse Coffee Decaf Dark, Whole Bean Coffee, 12.3-Ounce Tins (Pack of 2)

We find this to be superior decaf coffee - in fact it is our all time favorite. It is water processed, so I'm not sure what the previous reviewer was tasting when he mentioned a "chemical aftertaste". That has not been an issue for anyone in our family. Here's some info from the Kicking Horse website about it's decaf: "Our Decaf coffee packs a rich robust flavour, and it also has 99% less caffeine than regular coffee. Because our decaffeination is a natural mountain-water filtered process, this Central American original has a tip-top taste and a mellow finish. Note: It is important to store your coffee properly to keep it fresh. Keep at room temperature, sealed in an air-tight container. Avoid plastic containers as your coffee's flavor may be compromised. Expect to use your coffee beans within a 1 week to 2 week period."We first started drinking Kicking Horse Decaf and the 454 Horsepower caffeinated coffee when visiting Canada and are thrilled to be able to buy it in the states from Amazon. Note that you are buying either 2 tins each containing 12.3 oz. or 1 bag containing 2.2 lbs.
